Jefferson is located at the intersection of Routes 49 and 59 in Marion County, Texas, about 165 miles east of Dallas and about 22 miles west of the Louisiana border. Please use the directions and map below. Mapquest, yahoo, and google have not been updated and show Moseley Street as going straight through to Route 59; it does not. From the North and Traveling South on Route 59Traveling South on Route 59, enter Jefferson and go through the traffic light at Route 49 (Broadway Street). Look for Don Juan's Mexican Restaurant and turn left on East Jefferson Street; go 4 blocks and turn right onto South Line Street. Go 3 blocks and the Benefield House is on the right between Benners and Speaks Streets. We are 1009 South Line Street. From the South and Traveling North on Route 59Traveling North on Route 59, enter Jefferson and go over the Big Cypress Bayou. Look for the speed limit sign and turn right on East Jefferson Street before Don Juan's Mexican Restaurant; go 4 blocks and turn right onto South Line Street.
