Cantaloupe Butterfly:
A twist on a Fruit salad. This whimsical butterfly is certainly good enough to eat. With blueberries, strawberries, grapes and of course cantaloupe. A dollop of whipped cream and a dash of cinnamon sure add more than just "body" to this course.
Fruit Parfait:
Layers of Stonyfield Farms® French Vanilla yogurt and seasonal fresh fruits, sprinkled with Barenaked® granola.
Chocolate Farina:
Farina is finely ground wheat and is a courser texture than the well known grits. I make this Farina dish with a bit of cream, butter and chocolate! Just enough to get you ready for your main entrée. This just may be my “signature” side.

My Favorite Omelet: Vidalia onion, red pepper, green peppers and mushrooms, on a pillow of fluffy eggs and cheddar cheese.
Hash brown Crusted Ham & Cheese Quiche:
A crust of crispy hash browns is the perfect nest for these fluffy eggs, ham & cheddar cheese. Definitely a "man's" quiche!
Homemade Chocolate Waffles: Individually made with Grandma's Waffle maker. Light and fluffy, with a hint of delectable chocolate. Not too sweet.
Pancakes with Banana Flambé syrup: As light and fluffy as humidity of the day allows. These buttermilk pancakes are topped with a warm homemade syrup, bananas and walnuts.
Fruit Crepe's: filled with a cheese filling and one of the following fruits, strawberry, blueberry, pear, peaches, apples, lightly drizzled with warm Hazel nut and chocolate syrup.
Sausage Crepes: Best of both worlds. This savory, sautéed sausage filled crepe is will leave you loving crepes for sure.
Meats: Bacon, sausage patties, sausage links, ham steaks and for our non-pork eating guests we offer turkey bacon and turkey sausage.
Potatoes: Prepared in various ways, but always seasoned in my families traditional way using only herbs and spices. |
